Welcome! Thank you for choosing Radovich & Dean Music as your source for music lessons. Music is our passion, a universal language that transcends time and cultures. With a collective 250 years of teaching and performing experience, our staff is thoroughly committed to our students, and to passing on the love for music that was ignited in us by our own teachers.
Private lessons are available in 30 or 60 minute time slots, and run $30 per 30 minutes. Discounts are available if you are purchase a month of weekly lessons, as well as with our optional AutoPay service. Monthly tuition is $105 for weekly 30 minute lessons and $210 for weekly 60 minute lessons.
In the following packet are details explaining the Lesson Plan options, Attendance policies, and a Student Registration Form. Please fill out the registration form on page 4 and return it to us at your first lesson. Learn how you can save with the AutoPay option on page 3.
Also, ask your teacher about recital opportunities. We encourage students to join in performing at one of our Student Recital Nights, scheduled throughout the year.

LESSON ATTENDANCE AGREEMENT
We at R&D Music are committed to the musical and artistic development of our students. In order for this to be accomplished, the following terms must be established and agreed upon.
Lesson Plans and Attendance
It will take time to reach your musical goals. Please commit yourself to your lessons as well as your home practice sessions to reach these goals. Regular attendance and practicing at home is required and expected. It is also important to understand that teaching is an instructor’s job, and they take tremendous pride in each student’s success. It is the instructor’s responsibility to take the time to prepare for each student’s lesson and it is the student’s responsibility to avoid scheduling conflicts with their lesson time.
We offer two lesson plans to accommodate different scheduling needs. Choose the plan that works best for you:
A) Week-to-Week Plan
¨ Single lesson: $30 per 30 min., due when scheduling lesson.
¨ Choose any open lesson time each time you schedule, no regular schedule commitment.
¨ May cancel with a minimum 24 hours prior notice to lesson to reschedule.
¨ Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be forfeited.
¨ Cancellations due to inclement weather or teacher absence will be credited.
B) Monthly Plan
¨ Monthly tuition: $105 for weekly 30 min., or $210 for weekly 60 min. lessons. Students must take all the lessons in the month for this discounted tuition. (For students starting in the middle of the month, the remaining lessons will be pro-rated at $26.25 per 30 minutes.)
¨ Secure the same time slot every week.
¨ Tuition payment due by last lesson of month to reserve time slot for next month.
¨ Allotted one (1) make-up lesson per month. Must give a minimum of two (2) hours notice prior to lesson time to receive make-up.
¨ Accumulate up to three (3) unused make-ups to be used in the future.
¨ Cancellations with less than two (2) hours notice prior to lesson are forfeited.
¨ For cancellations due to teacher absence, inclement weather, or Holidays, students will have the option to make-up or receive a credit towards the next month’s tuition.
¨ Teachers will provide additional make-up days each quarter for any lessons that may still be owed.

Tardiness
Please arrive a few minutes before your lesson so you are prepared to start on time. If you are late for a lesson, you will receive instruction up to your scheduled time in order to be fair to the lesson scheduled after yours. If the instructor is running late, you will receive your full scheduled time.
Other Important Information
It is the parents responsibility to inform the instructor or Radovich & Dean Music, Inc. of any known health limitations, special learning needs or gifts in compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.

Payment
A single lesson is $30 for 30 minutes, $60 for 60 minutes. This payment is due at the time of scheduling in order to guarantee the lesson.
Since music is best learned with regularly weekly attendance, discounts are available for monthly tuition. A month of weekly 30 minute lessons is $105, and $210 a month for weekly 60 minute lessons. Students signing up in the middle of the month will pay for the balance of that months lessons, which will be pro-rated. Monthly tuition is due on the last week of the month to guarantee the lesson slot for the new month.
Payments not received by the 10th of the month will be assessed a late fee of $15. Checks returned for non-payment will be assessed a fee of $25.
AutoPay Option for Monthly Tuition
Save $5 per month on 30 min. lessons, or $10 per month on 60 min. lessons by enrolling in our optional monthly AutoPay Program. Your credit card will be automatically charged on the 1st of each month for your private lessons that month.
If you choose to enroll in the optional Autopay Program, please complete the following and return with your registration form:
Refunds
We suggest a student tries a month before deciding not to continue. However, if after the first lesson a student decides not to continue studying, a refund will be given for the remainder of that month’s tuition, as long as a minimum of 24 hours prior notice to the next scheduled lesson has been received.
